Artwork Terms of Use

If you would like to use the images in my art gallery in a manner that requires written permission, please make sure you include your name, the name of the group you own or run, the uses, and a link to your site or the group site.

No functioning link, no letter of permission will be sent. Send all such inquiries to: M. C. Krauss aka Mel. The full size images in the gallery do not bear a visible watermark, but the newer images contain a digitally embedded artist ID that is registered with Digimarc.

Below are my Terms of Use for the galleries on this domain, and I would sincerely appreciate if anyone using my images follows those to the letter.

Image Terms of Use
You may use the artwork posted in these galleries for personal use, or as an image for your gaming or role-play character without a licensing fee. If an image is marked as in use or otherwise states that it cannot be used, do not use it. If I post a new image and it is listed as being posted in my subscription gallery, it cannot be used for free. Those images cannot be used unless you are a subscriber, and they have their own Terms of Use. I also have clip art in high resolution jpeg and transparent png format that can be licensed from my online store. Both the artwork in my store and my subscription gallery can be used for personal and commercial use.

You are allowed to use the artwork in the galleries on this domain to create FREE avatars, PSP tubes, My Space themes, blog themes of any kind, message board themes, web sets, stationary, sig tags, templates, ONLY IF YOU HAVE WRITTEN PERMISSION FROM ME. Any item you create must be offered as a FREE item. You cannot use my work for free and make a profit from it.

You many not, under any circumstances, create an item to sell online or offline with the images in the galleries on this domain. This includes but is not limited to:
Avatars, PSP tubes, My Space themes, blog themes of any kind, message board themes, web sets, stationary, sig tags, templates, shareware, pay-ware or exclusive designs or anything else made to sell for a profit.

No one is allowed to post the images in the galleries on this domain, on the web for redistribution as PSP tubes or any sort of digital collection online or off-line for profit. Anything like that done for a profit require a commercial print fee. Please contact me, stating the purpose and the estimated number of images or copies required.

No one is allowed to post the images in the galleries as is, from this domain, on sites such as My Space, Facebook, Photobucket, Flickr and any other site similar to these sites.

You may not post my artwork on any site where anyone can request a print order of the image via a third party whose sole purpose is to sell prints for profit and said printing company does not credit me or compensate me in some way for my own artwork.

All the more recent images in this gallery now contain an invisible, digitally embedded watermark with my name and copyright information. It cannot be removed by any method. If you abuse my terms of use, you will be banned from this domain and publicly listed as an abuser of terms.
