The New Year
With the start of a new year, I have a number of projects I’d like to work on, personal projects in art and writing projects with the intent to publish at some point and time. Granted, I’m a bit rusty when it comes to writing, but that will pass swiftly enough. I consider myself a passionate dabbler when it comes to digital art, but writing for me has always been a most passionate form of expression, ever since I can remember. So I dare say it’s high time to push forward.
But the art will still continue to evolve, I enjoy it far too much to let if fall to the side. I am however, getting just a little frustrated with the model resources available. I do have a modeling program and now that I have a new, powerful computer, I think I’ll start playing with the idea of creating 3D models.
The piece I have posted today is my first one for 2011. Overall, I’m very happy with it, it did turn out quite lovely. I’m not entirely happy with the falcon’s body shape, but I’ll let this stand as it is. It’s still a pretty image, and the lighting is perfect, sets a wonderful mood.
